MRC Cooking Install Guide

What is this?

This guide shows you how to add the mrc-cooking resource to your FiveM server.

What you need first

• A FiveM server
• community_bridge (make sure this starts before mrc-cooking)
• A framework like QBCore or ESX
• An inventory system (like qb-inventory or ox_inventory)
• A target system (like qb-target or ox_target)
• oxmysql set up and working

How to install

1. Add the resource

1. Download mrc-cooking.
2. Put the mrc-cooking folder in your server’s resources folder.

3. Open your server.cfg and add ensure mrc-cooking after ensure community_bridge.

2. Add the images

1. Go into the mrc-cooking folder and find the images folder. This has all the .png images for the cooking items.
2. Copy all the .png files from there into your inventory’s image folder. Here are some common places:
   • QBCore (qb-inventory): resources/qb-inventory/html/images/
   • OX Inventory: resources/ox_inventory/web/images/
   • PS-Inventory: Check its docs for the right folder.
   • Other inventories: Look at your inventory’s docs.

3. Add the items

1. This file has item definitions for different inventory systems.
2. Figure out which inventory you use:
   • QBCore: Copy everything under QB-INVENTORY.
   • OX Inventory: Copy everything under OX INVENTORY.
3. Paste the items into your inventory’s items file:
   • QBCore: qb-core/shared/items.lua (paste inside the QBCore.Shared.Items = { ... } table)
   • OX Inventory: ox_inventory/data/items.lua (paste inside the Items = { ... } table)
   • ESX (with ox_inventory): Use the OX Inventory instructions.
   • Other inventories: Check your inventory’s docs.
